Zac Efron, If You’re Reading This, Can You Please Do ‘The Masked Singer AU’?

Hi Zac Efron, how are you? I hope you’re settling into Australia okay!

So, the reason why I am writing to you today is basically to ask you – if it’s not too much trouble – could you please do The Masked Singer AU? I know it’s out there, but believe me, I’ve thought long and hard about this and you would be perfect.  

Zac, this could be you and our man Osher!

I know, you’re probably thinking, “what even is The Masked Singer AU?” Glad you asked. The Masked Singer is basically Australia’s favourite reality show where C-List and D-List celebrities go on to sing in elaborate costumes and audiences nation-wide try and guess who they are. 

But see the thing is Zac, we really, really need you to do this show, and for a few reasons. 

Bare with me Zac Efron, please!

Here’s why you need to be on The Masked Singer AU:

Firstly, you’re super famous, and a super famous person is something The Masked Singer needs. We’ve never ever had an international celebrity on the show before, as a contestant anyway. So, can you imagine being that celebrity that ups the anti so much? Yeah, your publicist can thank me later. 

Secondly, not only are you super famous but you are such an incredible singer. Now, I know you didn’t sing at all on the first High School Musical soundtrack (and believe me, I’ve never gotten over it), but I also know that you did lend your gorgeous vocals to the High School Musical 2 soundtrack, the High School Musical 3 soundtrack, and the Hairspray soundtrack. So, I know you’re more than capable.  

Remember when you invented complex sport-based choreography? I do.

And yes, I know you didn’t want to be known as ‘Zac Efron: the musical guy’ so you took a break from musicals, but now that you’ve achieved so much as an actor, I feel like this show would be the perfect next step for your career. And c’mon, you can’t tell me that performing in The Greatest Showman didn’t feel like an amazing return to form.

Thirdly, and I mean this in the nicest way possible – are you really doing anything else? Think about it, you’re relaxing in Australia, you’re probably bored of surfing. This is such an easy thing for you to do to make a quick buck! Although, given your vocal ability, you’d probably make it to the finale, so beware of that.
