‘MAFS’ Ella Ding Gets Candid About Her Relationship With Mitch Eynaud In Her Debut YouTube Video
Married At First Sight ex-bride Ella Ding has joined YouTube with a classic ‘get to know me’ vlog, and we feel like we’ve been shot straight back into the 2010s when YouTube influencers were hot on the scene!
Many of the Season 9 MAFS alum have moved on since the show wrapped, jumping onto projects on OnlyFans, boxing matches, clothing brand deals, and many more. Ever since starring on the show, Ella has teamed up with bride-turned-bestie Domenica Calarco on many different ventures, including a podcast and frequenting influencer events together.

Most recently, Ella has jumped onto YouTube with her first video titled ‘My First YouTube! Find out some more about MAFS and ME!’
In the clip, Ella answered a few questions about her family, beauty, and spilt some tea on Mitch Eynaud: her reality TV hubby.
So to give you a quick rundown, here are the major takeaways from the reality star’s first YouTube vid:
Mitch and Ella don’t speak to each other
After the show ended, Ella And Mitch unfortunately did not continue their relationship. While Ella said she had an “amazing time” on the show, she revealed that the exes no longer speak, even as friends.
Dom and Ella also revealed to Punkee recently that Mitch also unfollowed the whole cast and kinda just ghosted everyone.

Ella’s background
Ella revealed that a question she gets asked a lot is “what is your background?” Ella said that she is half-Taiwanese, on her dad’s side and Spanish-Australian on her mums side.
She also got candid about her Dad and how he died when she was really young. Ella also spoke about how she lost touch of her Asian roots as she’s grown. “I was probably more in touch with my Asian roots when I was younger…which, I wish was different,” she said.
She’s been single for 11 years (minus Mitch)
Without including her television relationship with Mitch, Ella mentions that she has been single for about 11 years now. “It is a long time. In my single years, I have been able to do so much,” she said. Ella added that she had dated a log of amazing men and that she has experienced her “best times” in her single years.
Her Tattoos
One of my fave things about Ella are her amazing tattoos. In the video, she talks about all of her pieces, including her massive back piece which is meant to symbolise a “tree of her life”, her first tattoo from Schoolies, and her thigh tattoo which include a lion and peony, which are her fave animal and flower. And a lot of her tattoos are words that she tries to carry on in real life including “endless love” and “love yourself” in Spanish.

One of her most interesting tattoos is a woman blowing out smoke. Ella talked about how she got hypnotised to help her stop smoking after nine years. She claimed that the ritual worked and she no longer feels the urge to have a ciggie ever, but she does occasionally vape.
The World’s Greatest Shave
Ella gets extremely candid about the World’s Greatest Shave and what it meant to her. She reveals she shaved her head for the charity in 2014 to support a friend who had lost their dad to cancer. “Growing up, all of my girlfriends in high school didn’t have dads, for different reasons but mainly from sickness or cancer, so I wanted to do something to show my love for them,” she said.
Ella also mentioned that she kept her undercut for a while, even deciding to grow a mohawk! But when she was accepted onto MAFS, she stopped shaving it.

We reckon that Ella’s next vid is set to be a vlog in LA where she’s currently living her best life, but stay tuned to find out.
