Season 3 of Emily In Paris continues to give us oodles of content, but not so much from the new episodes themselves but from the bizarre things fans have noticed about the new season.

Before I get into all that, I want to say from the outset that I love this show. I mean, I literally went to Paris last year just so I could visit the Emily In Paris locations. To me, Emily In Paris is the ultimate comfort show: it’s easy viewing, doesn’t require too much thinking, and from the scenery to the fashion, it’s just all so pretty.

But I also love Emily In Paris because it’s a beautiful disaster. Each season of the show about an American expat in Paris, there’s something a bit off. Season 1 was all about how unlikeable Emily was as a protagonist, and while there’s been some improvements as the series has unfolded, the recent season has suffered another blunder: an Australian character with the most baffling accent ever.

Fans quickly noted that the actress who played Australian influencer Janine in episode five did not quite nail the Aussie inflections. And in a shocking development, it turns out the actress was actually a British woman named Kate Colebrook.

Along with the Australian mishap, a TikToker has discovered an editing fail that is the funniest thing I’ve seen in a long while.

Check out this TikTok from @samehoodies and hint: look out the window.

Two Eiffel Towers on the horizon? This is truly Emily’s world, we’re just living in it!

Emily In Paris tricked me into believing that the Eiffel Tower is visible from literally anywhere,” one commenter wrote. “Fun fact: the Eiffel Tower exists outside of space-time and can appear within eyesight of anyone in Paris no matter which direction they’re facing,” another joked.

Some commenters defended the show, claiming the second Eiffel Tower shown was simply a mirror image of the other one. “It’s a mirror door,” one user wrote. Another added, “I think this is called a mirror.”

But I’m not convinced! I’ve rewatched the TikTok at least 20 times and you can see the Eiffel Tower not just through the window but as the window is ajar, it’s clearly still shown in the background. “It’s an open window, if you pause it you can see the tower thru [sic] the glass,” one user rightly said.

On my recent trip to Paris, I must say I only noticed one lonely Eiffel Tower and tbh, I now feel pretty ripped off.

You can stream all three seasons of Emily In Paris on Netflix.
