“If This Is In Fact My Child, I’ll Be There”: Farmer Will Speaks Out About Hayley’s Pregnancy

We would’ve never previously predicted that Farmer Wants A Wife would be delivering us a real-life storyline to rival a dramatic, soapy TV show like Home and Away or Neighbours but it’s safe to say in 2021 you never really know what to expect.

Since Farmer Wants A Wife ended a couple of weeks ago, a pregnancy drama has shocked fans of the show, with Hayley Love announcing she was expecting Farmer Will’s baby. As a refresher, on the show, Hayley was matched with Farmer Matt, while Will ended the finale with Jaimee by his side.

Now if you grew up in rural Australia, a shock pregnancy announcement is really par for the course. Farmer Wants A Wife, however, is usually touted as the more “wholesome” reality dating series when compared to dating show rivals like Married at First Sight or The Bachelor – well, as wholesome as a show can be when a man has five wives he’s dating all at once living with him on his farm, with only one crowned the winner.

Hayley Love, who announced she was pregnant to Farmer Will after a short relationship with him, had this to say upon her announcement: “I’ve tried to keep things amicable with him, to be clear on what his involvement with our child will be. I’ve asked him to all the appointments and he did come to the ultrasound. At the end of the day, I have decided to keep the baby because I have enough love for this child with or without a biological father. I will be enough for him or her.”

Now Farmer Will has broken his silence on the matter, taking to Instagram to deliver what we can assume will be his one and only statement.

“My family are my world, and my parents were the perfect role models. When the time comes, I will be the best Dad I can be. If this is in fact my child, I’ll be there whenever the child needs me. Even if as parents we can’t be a couple, our family will be filled with love for our child,” Will said.

“But one thing I learnt from my Father is that discretion is the better part of valour. I’m sad that this has played out in public. I want only the best for Hayley. I’ll say what needs to be said in private and let my deeds do the talking,” he finished the Instagram post.

The drama doesn’t end there, however! Farmer Wants A Wife contestant Nickia who was matched with Farmer Sam also took to Instagram and unleashed on Farmer Will.

“It’s so funny when a narcissistic gaslighter tells the world he’s a narcissistic gaslighter,” Nickia said. “It’s the subtle slut-shame of the mother of his child for me.”

“Majority of what Will has said ‘in private’ has been vile and I know because I’ve read it,” she said.

As for Hayley, her Instagram is currently set to private. As news.com.au previously reported after Hayley made the pregnancy news public she thanked her family and friends for their support.

“I was absolutely terrified to come out with a statement as I am struggling with my mental health,” Hayley said. “While the rumours were spreading I became a complete wreck. I removed myself from social media to recover from all the awful comments I was reading about myself and even other girls/farmers.”

And the final cherry on top of this dramatic situation?

Podcast So Dramatic is now reporting that Hayley and Farmer Matt are back together after the two were spotted flirting on Instagram. We guess we’ll see what happens after the reunion episode finally airs next week, so watch this space!
