Sorry Guys, Looks Like Casa Amor Is Not Happening For This Season Of ‘Love Island’
I hate to burst your bubble, Love Island fans, but it looks like Casa Amor week won’t be happening this year.
This season of Love Island is notorious for its many twists and turns. It’s the first season of Love Island to be pre-recorded, and it also saw the return of four reality TV stars. But in a major twist, it seems like this season will not be featuring the iconic Casa Amor week.
This heartbreaking news was basically confirmed when the official Love Island Instagram account announced that the final bombs of the season would be dropping this week.

Casa Amor is definitely one of the most anticipated parts of Love Island, and it’s usually where all the shit hits the fan.
In case you’re unfamiliar with Casa Amor, it is the one week in the middle of the season when the boys and girls are separated. During their separation, bombs (aka new singles) are dropped in to tempt the islanders into cheating. So basically, Casa Amor is responsible for completely changing the direction of the show and making things really, really dramatic. The most nail-biting part is at the end, contestants either return to the villa with a new bomb or their OG partner.
It’s literally a shit-stirring ploy, but we love the drama.
Instead of Casa Amor, this season featured the first ever Ex-Week, which saw Claudia’s ex Jason Shtjefn entering (and leaving) the villa, and the return of last year’s winners Mitch Hibberd and Tina Provis.
Although Ex-Week brought a lot of drama, like Callum and Claudia’s screaming match and Tina shutting down Mitch, lots of fans have been asking for Casa Amor 2022.
What logic in bringing winners of the last season to get back together instead of having Casa Amor? They could get back together without being on Love Island. The show becomes meaningless the whole essence is gone I hope it helps them move on and meet new people.#LoveIslandAU pic.twitter.com/0B6FMGE6WD

THIS TIMES A MILLION !!
This season was already good before they brought back last seasons winner!!
This cast would’ve provided ICONIC Casa Amor moments. The recoupling. The fallout. We really got this instead ??? #LoveIslandAU https://t.co/KBoJgAT8Xx

People have also responded directly to the bombshell news calling for a Casa Amor week.
Despite the disappointment, eagle-eyed fans realised that this season was filmed in the Casa Amor villa for Love Island UK, so I guess it’s the closest thing we’ll get to a Casa Amor week.
