Booka From ‘MAFS’ Just Dropped A Savage Song About Softbois Featuring A Brett Lookalike

If there was still any question remaining around the relationship status of Married at First Sight’s hipster couple Booka Nile and Brett Helling, this song that Booka’s band just dropped should put the mystery to bed.

The track is titled ‘Beam me up soft/fuckboi’ by Internet Friends and hoeeeee boy, it sounds an awful lot like Booka is singing about Brett. She doesn’t name her MAFS husband, but there are plenty of clues in the music video that point to Brett.

Watch Booka’s music video and we’ll discuss below:

The video follows Booka as she keeps texting a guy who has ghosted her. We then see a guy taking selfies of himself, wearing glasses, a linen shirt, and hat (classic softboi getup) while pretending to read I Am Malala by Malala Yousafzai — aka feigning feminism for his Instagram followers.

Booka sings, “Boy, there’s some bullshit on your face,” before adding, “You’re so predictable and you’ve lost all your appeal. You’re so basic my hymen has gone resealed.” She really did THAT.

This all sounds like a fresh breakup to me, and add to that, look at the man chosen to play the role of the softboi:

It legit looks like someone cosplaying as Brett. You might be thinking: Brett doesn’t wear glasses. Well, think again…

The video ends in the softboi shedding his fake persona, and we see him as he truly is: wearing footy shorts and grabbing a beer from the fridge. Again, between the moustache and the floppy hair, this man looks unmistakably like Brett.

The breakup track comes after So Dramatic! claimed last week that Booka and Brett had split up and are, in fact, expected to exit the show at the end of this week.

To be fair, the song slaps. If this breakup leads to more bangers from Booka, at least some good has come from this absolute shitshow.
