Married At First Sight fans were left gooped after an Ines Basic look-a-like was spotted in the official trailer, but unfortunately, the polarising bride ain’t coming back!

Over the weekend, MAFS fans were treated to a first look of the legendary social experiment, and its incoming 2023 season.

Watch below for the full trailer for MAFS Season 10:

Within the first couple of seconds, fans spotted a bride that look exactly like Ines Basic, who was one of the most talked about brides during her season due to her explosive relationship with Bronson Norrish and her steamy affair with Sam Ball.

However, it has been confirmed that Ines will not be making a return to the franchise. The bride that was mistaken to be Ines is actually an incoming contestant, Bronte Schofield.

With that being said, Bronte looks like she’ll be set to stir the pot, just like her doppelgänger. A friend close to Bronte told The Daily Mail, “It’s going to be drama filled with her [Bronte] involved, that’s for sure!’

One Instagram user wrote under The Wash’s post that Bronte looked like “a mix of Ines and Dom [Calarco]”, and we lowkey kinda see it!

If Ines was to return, it wouldn’t be the first time an ex-contestant would appear on the show. Lizzie Sobinoff, who originally starred in the reality TV show in 2019, returned for a second blind marriage in 2021.

Selina Chhaur – of Season 9 – was also rumoured to return for next year’s season after she posted a pic of Skye Suites (where MAFS is filmed) on her Insta story back in October, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

All speculation aside, we’re super keen for this season and the tea. It’s gonna be piping hot!

Married At First Sight returns to Channel 9 and 9Now early next year.
