Apparently One ‘MAFS’ Bride Had A Longterm Boyfriend She Dumped For The Show
It’s not breaking news to us that some Married at First Sight contestants dumped significant others or dating partners to appear on the reality juggernaut, cough Harrison Boon, cough.
However, while Harrison’s trysts were outed at his wedding (and to be fair to him, didn’t sound all that serious), some scandalous new rumours have emerged about one of the MAFS brides dumping her long-term partner to be on the show — and it’s not who you’d suspect.
So Dramatic! has reported that Lyndall Grace was shacked up in a long-term relationship weeks before the latest MAFS series started filming and dumped her live-in boyfriend to appear on the show. DRAMA!

A source divulged to the gossip podcast that Lyndall was with her then-partner Travis for years before she “suddenly called things off with him,” with the person saying they were friends with Travis and the breakup seemed very much out of the blue.
A second source added that Lyndall was still posting about Travis on social media in the weeks leading up to filming, and that Travis was “blindsided” and “absolutely heartbroken”.
A third source then went on to say that the two had been planning a future together before MAFS. “He wanted to be with her long-term, so the whole ‘no one wanted a future with me’ story is not actually legit,” they said.
That’s gonna be a yikes from me, dog.
Because we’re investigative journalists, we did a deep-dive on some of Lyndall’s Instagram posts pre-MAFS and couldn’t find one where a mysterious Travis had liked them. But considering she may have him blocked, deleted him, or maybe he’s off social media, that doesn’t really mean anything.
We’re already pretty sure (like 110% sure) that Lyndall and TV husband Cam don’t work out: there are, of course, the rumours of Cam having a flirtation with controversial bride Tayla, and earlier this season, it was alleged that Lyndall hooked up with MAFS groom Josh White after the show wrapped filming. But until the cast can speak out themselves on all the rumours, we’ll just have to wait and see what’s true and what’s not.
Ahh the scandalous lives of Australia’s elite…
