Everything We Know About Rebecca From ‘Married At First Sight’
The first episode of Married At First Sight 2021 has officially aired and if you’re like us, then you’re probably curious to find out a little more information about all of these contestants.
Let’s shed the spotlight on the incredibly confident and super career-driven Rebecca Zemek because far out, that was one shakey wedding. Like, that was awkward.
Who is Rebecca Zemek?
In the first episode of Married At First Sight, we watched as Rebecca was paired up with Jake, the CEO of the mental health charity, Outside the Locker Room. Now, while these two seemingly match on paper because they’re both extremely career-driven people, that wedding was shockingly cringe. So, we wonder just how far these two will go…
Also, we should note that Jake used to be an AFL player and so did Rebecca’s ex. So.. that should be interesting!
Before coming on MAFS, Rebecca was in a 10-year relationship, which recently came to an end after infidelity on both sides, saying: “Being in a relationship (for) so long, taught me so much about what you need out of someone.”
“When I do go on dates… whether it’s five minutes or 10 minutes, if I’m not feeling it, I’m happy to call it,” Rebecca said in the first episode of MAFS.

The 27-year-old is from Perth, where she works as a business manager for a “growing company”. She wasted no time telling us that career is a top priority for her. She said, “My career is so important to me, it has become the number one priority over many things in life, including love.”
Oh, and we should note that she owns a very, very, very adorable cavoodle which you can see on her Instagram.

Her Instagram also suggests that she has a big love for travelling with three Instagram Story collections dedicated to it. Furthermore, upon a deep-dive into these stories, it would be apparent that she’s actually friends with reality TV dating show alumni, Locky Gilbert.
Rebecca also thinks very highly of her friends. When asked on episode one who she feels she has felt the most love from, she makes a point of saying her “friends” rather than her “family.”

But, apart from this, we pretty much know she’s an extroverted and adventurous queen who can be a little bit savage and stubborn at times. She is, after all, known as the “sass-hole” by her friends (half sassy, half asshole).
According to Channel 9, “Rebecca is looking for a partner with good banter, cheek and attitude, and she has a list of physical attributes that tick her boxes. As long as her partner isn’t a lover of Netflix by night or an open-mouth food chewer, love may yet be found!” We can’t wait to see how this all works out.
