Here Are The ‘Married At First Sight’ Couples Who Apparently Stay Together At The Final Vows
We’ve invested seven weeks of our lives into this year’s Married at First Sight couples and tbh, it feels like we’ve been watching their relationship highs and lows for seven years.
Between the gaslighting exhibited by the likes of Bryce and James, the toxic dynamic between Alana and Jason, and Belinda and Patrick’s cringeworthy sex talk, this season has been A LOT. After all these weeks of recapping this filth, I’m in desperate need of a vacay…and an exorcism.
As we enter finale week, the final vows are about to kick off. So the big question is: who is going to actually stay together? Luckily for us, our reality TV fairy godmother, aka Megan Pustetto from the So Dramatic! podcast, has blessed us with all the finale spoilers we crave.
If you don’t want to know the likely outcome of the final vows, look away now…
Belinda & Patrick
No surprises here, these two crazy kids both vote to stay together! Clap your feet like you mean it!! In more good news, according to some detective work, Belinda and Patrick appear to still be happily dating.
Kerry & Johnny
I honestly don’t think I could take it if MAFS’ cutest couple didn’t make it past the final vows, so thankfully for me and my sanity, these two adorable intruders totally stay together. Not only do they both elect to give their relationship a go outside the experiment, Kerry and Johnny appear to still be together to this day. Another long-lasting MAFS relationship? In this economy??
Rebecca & Jake
Now this is something that’s actually shocking: after barely having a relationship, Rebecca and Jake choose to stay together at final vows. Umm, why? A contestant told Pustetto, “They are showing Jake and Bec not getting along very well but by the final vows they were all good and going well. They both write stay at the final vows but Bec made it clear that she wanted to start again and start from scratch and get to know the real Jake.”
It doesn’t look like Bec was that keen on “the real Jake” either, as the MAFS couple have since split, with Jake now rumoured to be dating fitness influencer, Sophie Guidolin.

Melissa & Bryce
To the annoyance of all of Australia, Melissa and Bryce “choose to stay together” at final vows. And to baffle us all even further, they are still very much dating, and even rumoured to be living together in Somerville. I give up.
Georgia & Liam
OK, after all these terrible couples staying together, finally we have a breakup coming — and it sounds messy! Pustetto claims that Liam had planned on staying with Georgia, but her harsh critique of him in her vows prompted him to have a change of heart. “She was basically bagging him out, saying that her friends wouldn’t like him, and he doesn’t know how to love. She pointed out all of these negative things… it was really aggressive, she was basically saying to Liam that no ones loves you and you don’t know how to love me,” a friend of Georgia’s told the host.
This led to Liam changing what he planned on saying to Georgia. “He changed his mind on the spot. Liam says ‘no thanks, based on what you just said you do not know me at all’. He basically tells her ‘umm hell no, fu*k off’.” These two not lasting beyond the show is no huge shock, in light of Liam’s outburst at Georgia during the final dinner party, as well as the disgusting video doing the rounds last week which showed Jason going on a homophobic rant about Liam, while Georgia giggled in the background.
Alana & Jason
Finally we have Alana, who like Liam, apparently changed her mind. However, she switched from planning to dump Jason (yay!) to trying to salvage their relationship (boo!). “Alana actually wrote leave at the final vows. She then heard Jason’s final vows and felt guilty so she changed her mind on the spot,” Pustetto claimed. Noooo, Alana!! Nooo!
The only saving grace is that it looks like Jason and Alana have split up in recent weeks. While they were spotted together only a month back, last week Jason was photographed on a date — and even staying over — at MAFS alum Tamara Joy’s place.
Pustetto claims that Jason dumped Alana over text. In the bin. You’ve dodged a bullet, sis.
