‘Neighbours’ Has Been Brought Back From The Dead And We’re Confused
The defunct Aussie soap, Neighbours, is being brought back to life in 2023, meaning we basically grieved its finale for NOTHING.
If you’ve never watched Neighbours, the show followed the lives, relationships, and dramas of the people who live on Ramsay street. It was jam-packed with plot twists, romance, and action.
The legendary Aussie TV drama is also responsible for launching the careers of Hollywood actors, including Margot Robbie, Liam Hemsworth, Russell Crowe, and many more.
Earlier this year, Neighbours announced that it was in its final days, and it was a massive cultural reset for Australia. The final episode ended with the marriage of Toadie Rebecchi and Melanie Pearson, and a bunch of actors who had left the show made a return for one last cameo, including Kylie Minogue and Delta Goodrem. It was very emotional.
However, those tears have gone to waste, as Prime Video and Amazon Freevee have announced the return of Neighbours in 2023.
With the announcement, Amazon Freevee dropped a teaser that definitely tugged on our heartstrings with the nostalgic Neighbours theme song.

Lauren Anderson, the head of AVOD original content and programming at Amazon Studios, said, “With the power of streaming, we’re able to offer a catalogue of thousands of Neighbours episodes for new audiences to discover this legendary series and current fans to relive their favourite moments.”
The revamped Aussie soap will see the return of Stefan Dennis as Paul Robinson, Alan Fletcher as Karl Kennedy, Ryan Moloney as Toadie Rebecchi, and Jackie Woodburne as Susan Kennedy.

Although we were highly emotional during the finale earlier this year, it seems like Neighbours fans are delighted to see that their fave show is back, especially with the streaming service offering a backlog of all the old episodes for all of your TV bingeing needs.

I guess we’ll have to see what other plot twists will come in early 2023 when Neighbours officially makes a return to our screens.
