‘The Bachelor’ Winner Irena Srbinovska Says She Will Never Speak To Bella Varelis Again
While we’re deep in drama from this year’s The Bachelor, the fallout from last year’s season is still being felt by the final two contestants: Irena Srbinovska and Bella Varelis.
It feels like a lifetime ago, but if you cast your mind back to this time last year, Bella and Irena were firm friends at the start of The Bachelor. However, by the time the contestants emerged from lockdown, Bella and Irena were no longer on speaking terms — which awkwardly continued all the way to the finale.
Irena went on to win Locky Gilbert’s heart, but the public interest in the former besties has never wavered. What happened and will they ever resolve it? Irena prefaced the IG Story saying that “this is the last time I am going to talk about her,” and admitted she wished she could go back and change how their friendship fell apart. However, she went on to state: “Will we ever talk again? The answer is no.”
When addressing the feud last year, Bella told Life Uncut that, “Ultimately, we were two women that were in love with a man and didn’t want that [their friendship] to get in the way of us having our happily ever after.”
