9 Women Who Should Be Considered For ‘The Bachelorette’ This Year

Earlier this year The Bachelor franchise announced our new Bachy, Jimmy Nicholson, and we were thrilled to discover it wasn’t an ex-football player or ex-Survivor star.

So while we eagerly await Jimmy’s season, and suffer through the lack of Bachelor In Paradise drama that would normally be on our screens around this time of year, it got us thinking: who would we like to see as the 2021 Bachelorette?

Just in case the production company is also still pondering this question, we’ve decided to put together some potential options for The Bachelorette 2021.

Here’s who we’d like to see in the leading lady role of The Bachelorette.

For the purpose of this article, we asked Punkee readers and avid fans of The Bachelorette who they’d like to see for the 2021 series — if you’re interested in chatting all things reality TV, make sure to join our Facebook group!

1. A brand new face

Our new Bachelor Jimmy is a brand new face so it would be nice to pluck an unknown person from the wild and give them a shot at love. One person in the Punkee comments raised a good point – why not choose a nurse, doctor, or another frontline worker to find their chance at love after a horrendously full-on 2020?

Remember when Georgia Love was an unknown? Remember how much we love her now? Bring that vibe back!

2. Renee Barrett

If we’re not going with an unknown person, Renee makes the MOST sense to us. She’s gone through the absolute wringer on BIP with the likes of Ciarran and Matt stuffing her around, so the nation is already rooting for her to find her dream man. Renee is also a proud Larrakia woman and it would be freakin’ amazing to finally see a WOC calling the shots as the Bachelorette.

We also can’t help but notice Renee has wiped a lot of her Instagram content lately… which means she could be in for a fresh start as this year’s Bachy.

3. Brooke Blurton

Brooke has been the name on people’s lips for a long time. After walking away from the Honey Badger’s season and not finding what she was looking for in Paradise, we’re all ready for Brooke to find love. And wouldn’t she be amazing as our first bisexual Bachelorette? It’s what the people deserve.

4. Flex Mami

The Big Brother platform was too small, too mediocre for Flex. Give the queen the title of Bachelorette already. I’d watch this season on REPEAT.

5. Clementine Ford

Speaking of seasons I’d watch on repeat, the thought of Clementine Ford being the Bachelorette is what every Aussie deserves. Watching her school the average men on the show would breathe so much life into me that my skin would be glowing for years to come. Just imagine her confessionals. We need this to happen.

6. Susie Youssef

A down to earth, funny, relatable Bachelorette? Someone that could make us laugh while we watch her love journey? This show does need a kick up the ass to bring it back to life, and we think Susie would bring that in spades.

7.  Brittney ‘Litney’ Weldon

Bachelor In Paradise Reveals More Contestants Including Brittney Weldon

Litney brings the chaos but deep down, she’s searching for love and has pure intentions. She’s made us laugh harder than other Bachy contestants with her crazy antics, but we’ve also watched her heart get broken in Paradise. Litney deserves to be the one in the spotlight, not the one playing second-best and we’d love to watch her find love.

8. Juliette Herrara

This dancing queen sure knows how to liven up a show, and we have no doubt that she’d liven up The Bachelorette series after the lacklustre 2020 season. Plus her iconic expressions and GIF-worthy moments would make for a 10/10 viewing experience. We were ripped off not getting to see Juliette in Paradise this year, so let’s just promote her straight to Bachelorette.

9. Paulini

Paulini opened up about her turmoils with love and relationships on I’m A Celeb, and we think this singing superstar would make an amazing Bachelorette. She’s been career-focused and has lived a life independently, so she’d be a perfect match for someone looking to settle down. Plus, she’d be reunited with Osher and she could sing at the finale that she never made it to on Australian Idol!

OK, maybe that’s taking it too far.
