Leah And Ash From ‘The Block’ Need A “Christmas Miracle” To Sell Their House

The Block ‘villains’ Leah and Ash walked away empty-handed after the property auctions this year, and their luck hasn’t changed.

The pair’s House 2 was passed in after failing to attract bidders, and while there have been whispers that many prospective buyers were interested, an insider has shut these rumours down.

Yahoo Lifestyle! reported that there are “zero prospective buyers” for Leah and Ash’s house, even though the pair are “desperate” to sell.

“The winners and the losers of The Block seem disproportionally out of whack when you look at Steph and Gian adding $1.7 million to their bank account while Leah and Ash still flounder around new ideas to sell their home,” the source said.

“It’s like the longer the house is still on the market the further away an ending is in sight. A Christmas miracle is needed at this stage if they want the house sold in 2023.” Yikes.

This isn’t a totally unprecedented situation, as Dylan and Jenny from The Block 2022 also failed to sell their house until February 2023 – for a loss. Their property had a $4.08 million reserve, yet it sold for $180,000 less than that, with the final sale price reaching just $3.9 million.

Leah and Ash’s “frustration” over The Block sale.

Leah and Ash are apparently “frustrated” over the seemingly impossible task of selling their house, considering the other teams all sold at auction, with Kristy and Brett making the smallest profit of $65,000.

At the time, passing the property in may have seemed like the best decision, so they could walk away with more profit than frenemies Kristy and Brett. However, it looks like karma is kicking into action now, with an insider saying it’s possible one of the 2024 teams could sell their property before Leah and Ash.

“The fact that someone who isn’t even cast in the next series set to be filmed in Philip Island could beat them to the finish line is pretty concerning.”

Punkee has reached out to Leah and Ash for comment.
