A ‘MAFS’ Insider Spilled Piping Hot Tea About Evelyn And Tahnee’s Rumoured Feud

It seems as if there’s a million different rumours flying around about the Married at First Sight cast, but one claim took us by complete surprise. 

We’ve loved Tahnee Cook and Evelyn Ellis since they first appeared on screen, and we’re not the only ones. The two brides are firm favourites from this year’s season, but Yahoo! Lifestyle recently reported that the pair are no longer friends. 

“There wasn’t a huge fight or anything, they’re just very different people and aren’t friends,” Yahoo! Lifestyle’s source said. “Tahnee is a lot quieter and reserved compared to Evelyn’s other friends.”

With this in mind, we reached out to an insider close to Evelyn, in the hopes that this rumour wasn’t true. And thankfully, it seems it’s all hearsay.

“Evelyn knows nothing about this rumour, except from what she’s seen online,” a source told Punkee. “She thinks Tahnee’s amazing, and hasn’t got a bad thing to say about her. But, it’s really interesting to think about where these rumours are coming from.”

“She doesn’t think there’s a divide, she speaks to most of the girls and they catch up to see that [everyone is] okay.”

Melinda Willis on the “secret divide” and group chat fallout: 

This comes after CEO queen Melinda Willis spoke about a “secret divide” within the cast, telling UK’s Heart Radio that there’s a number of people she doesn’t speak to anymore. 

“There’s a few people not talking, there was a divide on the show you don’t really see, especially with the girls. That was a storyline at first and then it quickly got buried, so I would say that storyline is still evident in real life,” she said.

“I talk to Tahnee, Janelle [Han], Alyssa [Barmonde] and Evelyn. I don’t have anything against the other girls but I don’t really stay in contact with them.”

She dropped another set of bombshells in a later interview with Heat, saying that quite a few cast members didn’t like Claire Nomarhas, who kissed Adam Seed while she was ‘married’ to Jesse Burford. 

“I still don’t speak to Claire because of you know, a lot of things that actually happened. There’s quite a divide still in real life.”
