Rumour Has It Abbie Chatfield And Konrad Bien-Stephen Are Donezo
Breakup season is in full swing, first hitting the couples on Married At First Sight and then the couples on Love Is Blind US. But this time, it looks like The Bachelor sweethearts Abbie Chatfield and Konrad Bien-Stephen have called it quits.
Konrad is currently in Argentina filming the reality TV show The Challenge, and according to the Daily Mail, two sources has claimed Konrad has confirmed he was single and that Abbie was the one who ended things. “Konrad said he was single and his relationship with Abbie was over because she broke up with him,” a source told the Daily Mail.
But that’s not all, a source has also alleged that while filming the new reality show, Konrad had been hooking up with The Bachelor star Megan Marx. An “insider’ is also claiming that Konrad and Megan got together on night one of filming. “On the first night of filming, he hooked up with Megan, I didn’t know what was happening,” they said.

But the plot thickens. Daily Mail also claims that according to an insider, Konrad was hooking up with Megan to make his ex and fellow Bachelorette star Brooke Blurton jealous. “It was awkward because he was all over her the second we started filming. It was like he was trying to make Brooke jealous because she was there too,” the source said.
And for those who needed a refresher, Konrad was on Brooke’s season of The Bachelorette and was one of the frontrunners.

Abbie has responded to the breakup rumours via an Instagram Story. She wrote that she will not be confirming or denying the claims until Konrad comes back to Australia. “He’s out of the country so I won’t be commenting on anything until he’s home,” The Masked Singer judge wrote. “Can everyone not be so dramatic and relax. Both of us are totally okay.”
Megan and Konrad have not said anything about the alleged hook up, but I’m assuming that they’re locked away from their phones as they continue to film The Challenge.
The breakup news follows Abbie and Konrad announcing they were in an open relationship on Abbie’s It’s A Lot podcast. “I’ve never ever valued monogamy… My kink is wanting him to f*ck other people,” Abbie said during the episode.
I guess we will have to wait and see until Konrad comes back to Australia to get a definite answer.
Abbie and Konrad’s relationship was quite controversial from the start, as the pair became Instagram official during the week of Brooke’s finale. In the aftermath, Brooke called out Abbie for “narcissism” and “white privilege”. Since then, Brooke has confirmed she’s no longer friends with Abbie.
As for this recent chunk of breakup drama, hopefully we’ll find out more once The Challenge hits our screens. The Challenge will see reality stars compete in a variety of challenges in hopes of winning some cash money.
So far, the cast includes Konrad, Megan, Brooke, as well as Big Brother’s Tully Smyth, MAFS Cyrell Paule and Australian singer Jack Vidgen and many, many more. The stars will live together, which would definitely lead to some romance and drama.
It’s honestly just like a multiverse of Australian reality TV superstars, what could go wrong, right?
But even though there’s no air date just yet, it sounds like the drama on The Challenge is turned all the way up, as a source told the Daily Mail, “There’s a lot of drama. People who were recently in serious relationships are rooting other people in a space of two or three days… it’s crazy.” Oh my!
