Megan Marx Has Savaged Abbie Chatfield And Sided With Laura Byrne
Megan Marx has added to the pile-on against Abbie Chatfield following Laura Byrne calling her out for signing up to host FBOY Island.
Boy, oh boy! The Bachelor universe is in complete shambles. To give you a quick rundown on everything that has happened this week, Abbie Chatfield took to her It’s A Lot podcast to call out Brittany Hockley and Kyle Sandilands for their “slut shamey” comments during an interview with Yung Gravy in November.
In the interview, the hosts poked fun at the rapper for being romantically linked with Abbie.

Since the podcast episode dropped, Brittany publicly apologised for her involvement in the interview in a lengthy Instagram post. Soon after Brittany posted her statement, Abbie clapped back on her Instagram Stories, claiming that Brittany hadn’t apologised to her directly and that she would not be accepting her apology.
The next day, Abbie revealed that she will be hosting Binge’s new reality TV show, FBOY Island, and Brittany’s Life Uncut cohost and Bachy alum, Laura Byrne, called her out for joining a show that she claimed “encourages men to lie to women and manipulate their emotions in order to win a cash prize.”
Abbie clapped back at Laura via her Instagram Stories, saying, “I would not sign up for this show [FBOY Island] if that was a premise of the show, Laura. So I think you need to maybe address what your cohost did [Brittany], rather than trying to retaliate in this very passive-aggressive weird way.”

The Masked Singer judge then called out Laura for not holding her cohost accountable for her “slut shamey” comments. “If you’re gonna stand by this and if you are reformed from back when you shamed me online after The Bachelor, remember that? Remember when you did that? That was really mean. If you are reformed from that then I would think you would’ve DM’d me when this whole thing broke,” Abbie said.
And now another Bachy star has joined the conversation. This time it’s Megan Marx, who was previously on The Challenge where she hooked up with Abbie’s ex Konrad Bień-Stephen in the spa.
Megan took to her Instagram Stories to slam Abbie for her new gig on FBOY Island. “Absolutely dying,” the post began.
“All this ‘work’ being done to dismantle internalised misogyny within the media space – with incredibly high-horsed judgemental diatribe that includes the public humiliation of another woman (and all the others in the past) only to announce THE VERY NEXT DAY they’re hosting Fuckboy Island?!” Megan wrote.
The Challenge star went on to accuse Abbie of “using ‘social justice’ as a brand” to help with her career.
Abbie immediately replied to Megan via her Instagram Stories, defending FBOY Island and commenting that Megan and Laura’s coming for her seemed a bit suss. “Isn’t it interesting that the only people having a real issue with this show are people that I’ve called out for being ableist and sexist,” Abbie said. “It’s interesting and weird that retaliation is happening now.”
Abbie went on to call out Laura and Megan for the timings of their posts. “Laura’s whole issue with this whole thing would not have happened, and she wouldn’t be feeling defensive and upset if her cohost hadn’t slut shamed me,” Abbie said.
“Brittany has still not apologised to me. Laura hasn’t said ‘I don’t condone what Brittany did.’”
Abbie then called out Megan’s past ableist post, where she told her followers that she believed ADHD was a trend which caused a brief beef between the Bachy stars earlier this month. “Megan Marx’s posted ableist bullshit that was saying that ADHD is a trend, that people are taking medication to lose weight, so these women who are trying to call me out now for something that hasn’t even happened yet… it’s interesting timing.” Abbie said.
The It’s A Lot host added that FBOY Island is a “much more pro-woman show” than The Bachelor, which Brittany, Laura, Megan and herself have all been on.

Brittany, Laura or Megan have yet to respond to Abbie, but hopefully, the Bachy/podcast girlies can talk it out before Christmas.
